On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Regulatory Development Analyst for a 3-month contract based in Edinburgh. It will be a hybrid model. Purpose of the role: The role supports the Global Head of Regulatory Development and the wider Risk and Compliance function by leading regulatory horizon scanning and regulatory development activities across M&G. It interprets new and evolving regulatory and legislative requirements to ensure the business meets its legal and regulatory obligations. The role also supports regulatory engagement and government affairs, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, management guidelines, standards, and policies. What you'll do: Supporting on the identification of regulatory change from consultation to final rules Engaging with stakeholders throughout the organisation in regulatory change processes Supporting the Compliance leadership teams, Compliance Officers and other business stakeholders Representing M&G plc in relevant industry bodies and forums The skills you'll need: Working knowledge of the PRA / FCA Handbook (in particular COBS) Experience of identifying and/or implementing regulatory change projects Experience of attendance at and/or reporting to governance forums such as boards and senior level committees, preparing and presenting materials Experience of drafting and maintaining Policies/Frameworks would be beneficial Ability to conceptualise and clearly describe complex issues Experience of and an ability to build constructive relationships with, and influence, stakeholders across an organisation Effective communication skills enabling engagement across all levels of the organisation Self-starter, high levels of initiative and a strong work ethic Experience of operating complex processes in a matrix environment Commercially aligned, can-do attitude and pragmatic approach Attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills including Board level report writing Next steps We have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G plc, underpinned by our policies and our employee-led networks who provide networking opportunities, advice and support for the diverse communities our colleagues represent.
