Job Description:
The successful applicant will primarily complete service avoidance with EML and GPR in advance of others breaking ground for boreholes and intrusive site investigations. You will also complete EML service detection and tracing work to PAS128 Level B standards for utility mapping surveys as part of a team. My client has an expanding equipment pool of RD8100/8200 series locators, with GSSI, IDS and Mala GPR equipment providing their staff with highest quality instrumentation and support allowing them to complete surveys to the required standards. The role will primarily be based in the south-east England but can be UK wide. The role will require travel and staying away from home and can include night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking site work using GPR and EML techniques for on-site service avoidance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
- Undertaking site work using EML and cover lifting techniques for utility mapping works to PAS128 standard
- Site works, processing and drafting of utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards in AutoCAD 2D/3D
- Working as part of a team and training junior members on EML techniques
- Managing ongoing projects
- Liaising with external clients and internal site investigation teams for project scheduling
