Summary
* This role involves providing high-quality care and support to adults with care and support needs. The position focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and choice while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.
Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including dressing, washing, bathing, and meals.
* Support social interaction and maintain connections with family, friends, and the community.
* Encourage participation in social and therapeutic activities to promote independence.
* Complete domestic tasks related to daily routines and individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, events, and care plans.
* Administer medication as instructed and update risk assessments.
* Attend staff meetings, supervision sessions, and training.
Requirements
* Experience in residential or community care settings.
* Knowledge of health and safety and risk assessments in care environments.
* Experience with care planning.
* Commitment to undertake mandatory and vocational training.
Additional Information
* Working hours: 37 hours per week
* We have Bi-weekly payments
* Enhanced DBS required.
