Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom
Pay Range: Up to £46,500 plus excellent package
Contract Type: Permanent
We are recruiting for a global manufacturer seeking a hands-on, mechanically biased engineer to maintain a production site that produces industry-leading products. This world-class manufacturing company processes and packs thousands of units daily, offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing site.
Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Technician
* Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment safely using appropriate tools.
* Examine machinery and equipment, report on their condition and performance, and lead improvements with autonomy.
* Perform planned and preventive maintenance according to schedules.
* Maintain the site to world-class standards.
Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Engineering Technician
* ONC in Mechanical Engineering or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or maintenance, or similar manufacturing qualification.
* Equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
