This is an opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives, working in a professional and supportive environment.About the ServiceThe organisation operates two Community Resource Centres in Washington and Fulwell, offering day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health conditions. These services support individuals living with carers, families, or independently in their own homes.As a Support Worker, you will:
* Provide sensitive and respectful personal care
* Support individuals with eating, mobility, and communication
* Promote independence and enable choice and control
* Work in a person-centred way to meet individual care needs
* Contribute to and maintain accurate care plans
* Build meaningful relationships with individuals and their families
You’ll work as part of a friendly and professional team committed to delivering high standards of care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What We’re Looking ForExperience is welcome but not essential—your values, attitude, and commitment to providing excellent care are what matter most.Ideal candidates will:
* Demonstrate empathy, respect, and compassion in all interactions
* Communicate clearly and effectively with individuals and team members
* Be flexible and adaptable to rota-based work (Monday–Friday, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm)
* Be willing to contribute positively to the team environment
Desirable (but not essential) qualifications include:
* Training in areas such as Moving & Assisting, Safe Handling of Medication, or First Aid
