Set within stunning countryside surroundings, this independently owned estate has built a reputation for delivering refined but relaxed hospitality, combining beautifully designed guest spaces with exceptional food, wellness and guest experience. This role is heavily focused around front-of-house operations, reception leadership and overall guest journey, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a highly guest-facing environment and enjoys leading from the floor. The Role As House / Hotel Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day guest experience across the hotel operation, ensuring every guest receives warm, polished and highly personalised service from arrival through to departure. You will act as a key bridge between reception, guest relations and wider front-of-house operations while supporting and developing the FOH team. Key responsibilities include: Leading daily front-of-house hotel operations Managing reception standards and guest arrival experience Driving exceptional guest service throughout the property Supporting and developing the reception and FOH teams Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally Ensuring excellent communication across departments Maintaining operational standards, organisation and consistency Working closely with senior management to continually elevate guest experience This is a hands-on leadership role requiring warmth, emotional intelligence, organisation and strong attention to detail.
