The ability to analyse data to inform teaching and learning and documented planning, along with strong interpersonal skills when working with parents and stakeholders is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of Disability Resourcing, connecting and engaging with (School of Special Educational Needs (SSEN) schools, therapists and external stakeholders is highly desirable. As the ability to coach and support staff in the development of effective teams, Individual Education Planning, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and how this translates to effective delivery in the classroom is a key component of this role, applicants who display this ability are highly desirable.
2. Leading Teaching and Learning across K-6:
As an Associate Principal you should promote and maintain high expectations and lead Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the school.
Suitable applicants will ideally be collaborative and team focussed, working with the leadership team, teaching and support staff to establish and deliver programs and policies in a highly inclusive school with an EESP.
Suitable applicants should have knowledge and experience in leading and implementing contemporary curriculum and pedagogical practices to build teacher capacity across the breadth of the curriculum. You will ideally use data and research to inform decision making and use coaching to create and support effective teams. Suitable applicants should display experience in effective change management, growing high performing teams and embedding a performance and development culture.
