Office Manager Role
Our Watford-based organisation within the Engineering sector is seeking an Office Manager with responsibilities including IT management, with a salary offering up to £50,000. The Office Operations Manager will oversee IT, internal sales, customer service, as well as conduct commercial analysis and provide recommendations. They will also manage facilities, ensuring legal, contractual, and health and safety compliance, along with handling IT project management and HR requirements. This is an office-based role requiring the candidate to work onsite permanently.
On a daily basis, the Office Manager will handle the operational and administrative functions of the site, including procedure documentation, facilities standards, business profitability, and escalation of IT issues. They will oversee the administration and support of approximately 25 staff members.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on professional with a positive attitude, exceptional numerical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Attention to detail and the ability to identify opportunities for organisational improvement are essential.
Relevant Experience and Skills
* Experience with daily IT support, user administration, and setting up new users and hardware on Azure and Office 365
* Experience in commercial and operational management within a similar-sized company
* Familiarity with HR processes, IT project management, and line management
* Strong record-keeping and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
