We are now recruiting for a Head of Communications Delivery, a senior leadership role within the Communications and Engagement Team. This role leads the CAA’s external communications function, with responsibility for media relations, corporate communications, social and digital media channels, campaigns, and reputation management. The postholder will oversee a team of 14 and play a central role in protecting and promoting the organisation’s public voice. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and delivery of an integrated communications strategy across media, digital, and social channels Managing the organisation’s external response to issues and crises Overseeing the creation of clear and consistent corporate communications content Providing strategic advice and counsel to senior leaders, including the Chair and CEO Leading a team of communications professionals and ensuring effective delivery of campaigns and digital content Ensuring governance and brand consistency across all public-facing platforms Person specification: Strong leadership experience in external and corporate communications Expertise in crisis communications and high-stakes issue management (A background within aviation or transport more boradly is ideal but not essential) Skilled in digital engagement, or experience managing digital teams Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex relationships This is an excellent opportunity for a communications leader seeking to contribute to a high-profile organisation with a strong public purpose.
