They have recently grown their presence in the Yorkshire and North West of England, therefore they are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be working across a range of commercial, industrial and residential contracts, conducting the full range of asbestos surveys, air monitoring and 4‑stage clearances. We are seeking someone with a strong track record within the industry, who can hit the ground running. Candidates will ideally be situated close to the M62.</p><h3>Locations of Work</h3><p>Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Normanton, Castleford, Barnsley, Morley, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Brighouse, Garforth, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Halifax, Rochdale, Oldham, Burnley, Bolton, Bury, Chorley, Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Leigh, Skelmersdale, Manchester, Widnes, Runcorn.</p><h3>Experience / Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst</li><li>Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)</li><li>Excellent technical knowledge (including HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines)</li><li>Ideally will have worked within a UKAS accredited outfit</li><li>Flexible to travel in line with company needs</li><li>Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills</li></ul><h3>The Role</h3><ul><li>Carrying out thorough management, demolition and refurbishment asbestos surveys</li><li>Safely collecting ACM samples from site for analysis</li><li>Performing air monitoring, including: personal, reassurance, leak, background and smoke</li><li>Conducting 4‑stage clearances</li><li>Working across a variety of asbestos removal projects, varying in size and nature</li><li>Producing detailed technical reports</li><li>Wearing correct PPE at all times</li><li>Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets</li></ul><h3>Alternative Job Titles</h3><p>Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Analyst, Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Site Analyst, Asbestos Inspector, Environmental Consultant.</p><h3>Additional Certifications</h3><p>We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.</p></div>
