We are currently recruiting a passionate, customer-focused First Aid Instructor for our expanding Health and Safety Team at GTG Edinburgh, with some travel across the UK to deliver training to our commercial clients.

Hours
Full-time: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasional out-of-hours or weekend work may be required depending on customer demand.
About the role
As a First Aid Instructor, you will deliver various training programmes in different areas of first aid.
Day-to-day duties
* Deliver training programmes related to emergency first aid, full first aid, refresher first aid, paediatric first aid, etc.
* Develop and tailor training courses
* Ensure accurate completion and prompt submission of all relevant course documentation
* Complete feedback forms and attendance registers
* Collaborate with the Health and Safety department controllers for course registers, paperwork processing, and certification
* Maintain equipment in accordance with procedures
* Maintain current competence and pursue continuous personal development in line with GTG Training and relevant awarding bodies
* Work with GTG Account Managers and the inbound Sales team to promote our services
Essential skills and experience
* Acceptable training/assessor qualifications (e.g., Level 3 award in Education and Training, PTTLS with ‘Principles and Practice of Assessment’)
* Current valid First Aid at Work certificate or registered medical professional
* Minimum of three years’ first aid training experience
* Full UK driving license – travel required
* Current valid paediatric first aid certificate
* Ability to create and adapt training courses
* A professional manner
* Excellent and engaging presentation skills
Nice to have but not essential
* Previous experience delivering training via Microsoft Teams
