Duties of the Role:
* Support classroom activities:Assist the class teacher with daily lessons and activities across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2).
* Provide one-on-one support:Offer individual or small group assistance to students who may need extra help with learning.
* Promote a positive learning environment:Help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and motivated.
* Encourage student development:Help students with their academic progress and social skills.
* Feedback and communication:Provide regular feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behaviour.
* Support during break times:Assist with supervising students during playtimes and lunch, promoting positive social interactions.
* Contribute to the school community:Engage with staff, parents, and students to foster a supportive environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* A genuinepassion for supporting young learnersand fostering their development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
* Uni students are encouraged to apply.
