Join to apply for the Terminal Operator role at Brett Group. We are seeking an experienced Operator to join our team. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all equipment at our cementitious products terminal, including vessel unloading equipment, shovel loaders and other fixed and mobile plant. You will work with shift supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient terminal operation. The role involves a mixed roster with early shifts, late shifts, and occasional nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Control multiple weighbridges and load cementitious products.
* Drive shovel loaders in a flat cement store.
* Operate a ship unloader on the berth.
* Assemble and disassemble a temporary pipeline.
* Undertake onsite maintenance and plant checks.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience operating and maintaining plant equipment.
* Experience in an industrial environment.
* Strong health and safety knowledge and ethos.
* Ability to understand and resolve operational issues as they arise.
* Experience in mechanical equipment maintenance.
* Strong work ethic.
* Shovel loader driving experience desirable.
* Tele-handler driving experience desirable.
* Knowledge of port operations desirable.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team desirable.
