As part of our dedicated team, you will help maintain and improve fire safety in our tenanted properties across South Wales. Your day-to-day work will play a key role in keeping these spaces safe, functional, and welcoming.
You will complete planned works; Fitting fire doors, composite door sets and timber doors sets, maintenance on fire doors, adjustments and repairs, carry out fire stopping and fire separation, pipe and cable entries.
All works will be planned by the planners and will pull through to your PDA where you will work through the job list.
Key Criteria:
1. Relevant trade qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
2. Relevant experience in fitting of fire doors/repairs and knowledge of fire safety
3. To undertake all aspects of passive fire protection including timber fire door sets installation in line with current legislation
4. Undertake firestopping tasks as directed by FRA findings
5. Must have the ability to communicate with client’s representatives, tenants and other agencies as required
6. To be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve targets set by management
7. Have a willingness to learn
8. Excellent time management
9. Understanding of Health and Safety
10. Have a flexible approach around client’s needs
11. Full driving licence
