What you’ll do on a typical day:
Manage the day-to-day running of transport operations across stores, outside storage and vendor operations.
* Lead, motivate, and support drivers and transport office teams across your shift.
* Deliver daily briefs and debriefs, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
* Manage driver performance, compliance, and behaviours, escalating where required.
* Ensure all incidents, delays, failures, and refusals are investigated and recorded.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience working within a fast-paced transport environment, with confidence of managing drivers
* Good understanding of transport regulations and compliance.
* Effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* CPC license - Would be an advantage
