Remuneration: £45,000 – £55,000 + discretionary bonus

Overview
The role of the Contracts Manager Steel Framing & Dry Lining will involve managing a high‑quality range of steel framing and dry‑lining projects, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safe, on‑time, within‑budget delivery.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate a team of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Travel to site, keep all works moving smoothly and ensure project deadlines are adhered to, while maintaining project cost plans.
* Oversee all aspects of the contract from tender through to completion.
* Organise delivery of all materials needed on site and ensure they arrive on time.
* Liaise with clients and provide regular project reports.
* Manage projects ranging in value up to £5 million.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Contract Manager in steel framing systems, dry‑lining, or building envelope.
* Proven track record of leading and managing teams successfully.
* Driven, enthusiastic, proactive individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good knowledge of the building industry and a sound understanding of building legislation and controls.
* High levels of attention to detail.
