We seek a highly skilled, collaborative, track-aware Simulation Engineer with strong systems knowledge and motorsport experience. Your responsibilities include:
* Designing and validating simulation models for suspension, cooling, hydraulic, and brake systems
* Creating and supervising test programs with Design and Test & Validation teams
* Promoting quick design iterations, rapid decision-making, and high reliability
* Driving continuous performance improvements in Formula 1 racing
Requirements
Driven by high performance
We value autonomy, responsibility, and visibility. You will influence design and on-track decisions. You should have:
* Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and thermo-fluid principles
* Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Simpack (or equivalents), and data analysis tools like MATLAB, Python, CAN-based tools
* Extensive experience in F1, F2/F3, WEC, or similar high-performance motorsport environments, including simulation of:
o Suspension systems (kinematics, compliance, dampers/springs)
o Cooling and thermal systems
o Hydraulic and steering systems
o Brake system performance
o Power unit systems
