Due to business requirements, they are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to foster the culture of continuous learning & professional growth within the Bank.
Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive Learning and Development strategies that align with the Bank's goals and the SMCR requirements.
Create and maintain competency frameworks and ensure they meet regulatory standards.
Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customised solutions.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert on SMCR-related competency requirements and provide guidance to senior management and HR colleagues.
Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
Key Skills/Experience:
Proven experience in a Learning and Development role ideally within Banking or Financial Services.
Previous experience and knowledge of competency requirements under the SMCR will be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Learning and Development frameworks and best practices.
Excellent training delivery and facilitation skills.
Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent stakeholder management/engagement.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant software.
