Job Title: Domestic Supervisor Location: Working across multiple sites, including but not limited to: · Westwood Park Hospital – BD6 3NL · Skipton General Hospital – BD23 2RJ · Keighley Health Centre – BD21 1SA Hours: Working 37.5hours/week through NHS Professionals bank Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00 or 12:00–20:00, or a combination of both within the same week. It is essential that you can work either the early or late shift when required. NHS Property Services is seeking a dedicated and motivated Domestic Supervisor to play a key role in ensuring our facilities provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. About the Trust NHS Property Services partner with customers to enable excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions. They manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Their properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. Our 6,000 colleagues have expertise in every area of estates and facilities management within the NHS. About the Role As a Domestic Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across NHS properties. You will supervise and support a team of 16 Frontline FM colleagues working various shift patterns (both am and pm) within a dedicated patch of properties around the Bradford & Airedale Area: Skipton General Hospital, Keighley Health Centre, Barnoldswick New Clinic, Settle Health Centre & Coronation Hospital. What you’ll be responsible for: * Supervising a team of domestic staff to maintain high-quality cleaning standards. * Scheduling and allocating work to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. * Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols, health and safety regulations, and infection control standards. * Providing training and support to your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. * Ensuring adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. * Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly. · Complete any reports or paperwork associated with the role, including but not limited to, timesheets verification, absence records, annual leave information, stock order forms & Health & Safety audits · Undertake the rostering of staff and ensure all absences are appropriately covered Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience: * Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within a cleaning or facilities management environment. * Must have a valid UK driving licence and travel to other sites is required. * Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, COSHH, and infection control standards. * Strong administrative and customer service skills As a member of NHS Professionals, you have fantastic benefits: · Competitive pay rates: Work this week and get paid the following week, · Essential support available 24/7, 365 days a year: Call us anytime you need assistance, · Multi-locational opportunities: Work across neighbouring Trusts, · Convenient shift and timesheet management: Access your "My Bank" shift portal from anywhere, anytime, via smartphone or online, · Access to training and development opportunities: Stay updated with essential skills and more.
