Are you a qualified and experienced Registered Manager looking to lead a high-performing residential service for children and young people?
If so, our client, a well-established organisation in the sector, is seeking a confident and knowledgeable leader to oversee operations at their Oakwood-based home.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
1. Register as the Manager with Ofsted, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
2. Provide strong and effective leadership to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
3. Ensure children receive exceptional care and support, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
4. Develop and oversee care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies to promote safety and wellbeing.
5. Lead staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
6. Monitor and enhance the quality of care through regular audits, reviews, and stakeholder feedback.
7. Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies, including social workers, schools, and healthcare providers.
8. Maintain accurate and compliant records, adhering to safeguarding protocols and data protection regulations.
9. Promote a nurturing and positive environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
21. Full UK Driving Licence: Applicants must be confident driving in all conditions, including motorways and nighttime.
22. Qualified Professionals Only: Proof of relevant qualifications must be provided prior to interview.
23. Clear Enhanced DBS: A clean DBS is essential.
24. Strong Sector Knowledge: Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of: Ofsted regulations and inspections Staff supervision and whistleblowing procedures Safeguarding policies Residential care responsibilities for children and young people
