Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Hodge Hill, Birmingham (Full Time, ASAP Start)
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive primary school in Hodge Hill, Birmingham. This is a full-time role, working 8:30am–3:30pm, and the school is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom. You’ll be supporting the class teacher, working with small groups, and helping pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher with daily lessons and classroom routines
* Work with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
* Provide 1:1 support where needed
* Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
* Encourage positive behaviour and help create a nurturing, inclusive environment
* Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day
