Job title: Operations Manager
Are you a seasoned freight forwarding professional with a sharp commercial edge and a passion for leading high-performing teams? We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee global logistics operations for a well-established, forward-thinking logistics company.
This is a hands-on, strategic role responsible for the smooth execution of global shipments, documentation, budgeting, and managing full P&L for your department. You will collaborate with suppliers, overseas partners, commercial teams, and clients on high-profile, high-value projects.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex, sensitive, and high-profile project shipments globally
* Oversee all documentation, invoicing, and operational activities across air, ocean, and road freight
* Work with transport and commercial teams to optimize costs and profitability
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and 3PL/4PL providers
* Monitor budgets, drive profitability, and control department P&L
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
Requirements
* 10+ years of freight forwarding experience with proven management credentials
* Deep knowledge of international logistics, documentation, and Letter of Credit processes
* Strong leadership skills; a motivator and process optimizer
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills
* Solid understanding of freight regulations and global logistics best practices
