Remuneration: £30,000 - £50,000
Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Designer / Draughtsman - Facades & Cladding Systems will involve:
* Designer position dealing with various industrial and commercial, roofing and cladding systems including: twin-skin / built-up systems, composite panels systems, standing seam systems, GRP systems, fibre cement systems, laminated boards, and aluminium rainscreen systems
* Review client specifications, surveys and manufacturers design information to produce designs
* Producing accurate and clear CAD drawings for both client and company
* Produce As-built drawings for inclusion within O&M when requested
* Requesting information from customers to enable drawing /design progression
* Ensure all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard Scheduling of required materials to an agreed programme for buying
* Ensuring information is passed between departments so designs have the technical back up required
The ideal applicant will be a Designer / Draughtsman - Facades & Cladding Systems with:
* Must have 2+ years design experience within the roofing and cladding market sector
* Strong AutoCAD experience
* Sound knowledge of building regulations and building standards
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* High levels of organisation and attention to detail
* Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
