As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager to maintain that brilliance across the team, delivering 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves happy. You'll assist with the daily operations of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback. Your standards will be high, but your approach will be unique to you. You'll be involved in driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintaining high standards. Your goal is to make your Lounge the go-to place for the local community. This role requires resilience and confidence.
Ideal Candidate:
* Likely an existing Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor with experience in restaurants, bars, cafes, or coffee shops.
* Experience in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks.
* A natural talent and passion for hospitality, with strong people management skills and talent spotting abilities.
* Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges.
* Good literacy skills and attention to detail for reporting on KPIs.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust.
* Self-motivated, able to work at pace with limited supervision, even under pressure.
* Strong knowledge of sales building, forecasting, paperwork, reporting, recruitment, HR, and NPS.
