Purpose/Key Objective To perform warehouse duties, to include receiving deliveries and despatching orders, stock control and record keeping. Safety Health, Environmental And Quality (SHEQ) Requirements Complies with the Company and statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act section 7 as well as the environment Co-operates in ensuring the health, safety and welfare of themselves, colleagues and visitors (e.g. customers, contractors) whilst at work Co-operates via communication, consultation and participation in the SHEQ management systems Co-operates in protecting resources by minimising energy usage, waste and emissions to benefit the planet. Principal Accountabilities/Critical Objectives FLT Driver Receive deliveries of goods and supplies Check for damaged or missing items Store goods Move stock around by hand, palletiser, or a forklift truck Pick, prepare and check orders Load goods Keep records of stock Keep paperwork up to date Clean work area Routine cleaning of warehouse floors on a weekly basis or as necessary Daily checking forklift equipment for faults or damage Ad hoc duties as required. Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Counterbalance forklift qualification Needs to have experience in using mobile loading ramp. Desirable to have experience in a warehousing/factory role involving a continuous production line Equivalent of GCSE in English and Maths Aware of health and safety regulations Good organisation skills A methodical and tidy approach Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks Team player The ability to work quickly, accurately and safely.
