Children's Team Manager - CFCS, EDT, Disability (Gr 9)*

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Team Manager for our CFCS, EDT, and Disability programs. This crucial role is designed for a leader who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. The Children's Team Manager will oversee a dynamic team committed to delivering high‑quality services and support to children with disabilities and their families. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, management, and development of various programs aimed at enhancing the well‑being and facilitating the growth of children in our community. This includes working closely with stakeholders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that all services are delivered in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, capacity for problem‑solving, and a deep understanding of child welfare systems. With a focus on fostering a supportive environment, the Children's Team Manager will help inspire and mentor team members to achieve their highest potential.


Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of professionals in the CFCS, EDT, and Disability programs.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of services provided to children and families.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the delivery of programs.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the needs of children and families are met effectively.
* Monitor and evaluate program performance and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to improve services.
* Provide mentorship and training to team members to promote professional growth and development.
* Facilitate regular team meetings and promote a culture of open communication and collaboration.


Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in child welfare or related services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and best practices related to child welfare and disabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
* Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on service improvement.
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet the demands of the role.


Compensation and Schedule

* Hours per week: 36.00
* Start time: 09:00
* End time: 17:00
* Pay per hour: £32.71
* Location: Sutton, London
