About the Role
Stafforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC or Manual Horizontal Borer Operator to join a well‑established engineering business based in Worksop.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate CNC or manual horizontal boring machines to produce precision‑engineered components
* Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
* Set up machines, tooling, and workpieces accurately
* Machine components to tight tolerances
* Conduct quality checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other measuring tools
* Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience operating CNC or manual horizontal borers
* Strong understanding of machining processes and engineering drawings
* Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
* Good problem‑solving skills
* Commitment to safe working practices
Hours & Pay
* 39 hours per week
* Regular day shifts
* £18 per hour
* Overtime available at enhanced rates
