About the Role
We’re growing fast – and we’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help us scale. You’ll be at the forefront of our pipeline and revenue growth in Solar PV, ASHPs, EV Charging, and Maintenance (O&M), with a particular focus on Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Facilities Management, and New Build Construction.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Sales Strategy: Define and implement winning sales strategies across new and existing markets.
* Client Relationships: Engage with key decision-makers in housing, new build development, public sector, and commercial spaces – building long-term value.
* Market Expansion: Drive lead generation, qualify opportunities, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
* Bid Management: Lead the preparation of compelling proposals and tenders, backed by technical and delivery teams.
* Performance & Forecasting: Monitor pipeline progress, report on performance, and refine approaches to optimise results.
* Market Intelligence: Keep ahead of policy, funding, and competitor developments to sharpen our competitive edge.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong sales background with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Facilities Management, or new build contractors and developers.
* Experience in renewables, energy efficiency, or EV is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to grow revenue and foster long-term client relationships.
* Confident in proposal writing, presenting and closing deals.
* Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Proactive, self-starter mindset suited to a high-growth, mission-led business.
