We are seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager from a mechanical and electrical building services background to oversee post-completion works, manage defects, and coordinate supplier engagement across multiple projects in London. The role focuses on maintaining quality, compliance, and client satisfaction during the Defects Liability Period (DLP), ensuring all technical and supplier-related issues are managed swiftly and effectively. Key Responsibilities * Lead the aftercare and defects process from practical completion through to final resolution. * Log, track, and close out snagging and warranty issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BMS systems. * Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to arrange site visits, repairs, and product replacements within agreed SLAs. * Manage client communication, providing clear updates, progress reports, and closure evidence. * Review and maintain O&M documentation, commissioning data, and defect logs for compliance. * Identify root causes of technical issues and provide structured feedback to delivery and design teams. * Participate in lessons learned and supplier performance meetings to support continual improvement. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during all remedial works. About You * Proven experience in an M&E aftercare, commissioning, or service management capacity. * Strong understanding of building services systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and controls/BMS. * Confident managing multiple live projects and prioritising supplier engagement. * Excellent communication and reporting skills — comfortable liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers. * Competent with defects management systems (e.g. SnagR, Zutec, Field View, or similar). * Location: London Site based, with occasional site visit if required * Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
