Working environment
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one‑stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
* Calibrate control systems for optimal performance, ensuring each system operates efficiently and accurately.
* Maintain and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, SCADA and DCS, addressing faults and keeping operations running smoothly.
* Ensure instrumentation systems operate accurately and reliably so that all measurements and processes remain consistent.
* Install, calibrate and maintain instruments used to measure variables such as pressure, flow, temperature and level, supporting precise monitoring across all equipment.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems – wiring, motors, circuits and distribution systems.
* Proficient in calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting sensors, transmitters and control valves.
* Knowledge of control systems.
