About the Role:
Are you passionate about innovation, startups, and creating vibrant business communities?
As Location Manager, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic innovation space that is part coworking hub and part business support ecosystem. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations while fostering a collaborative environment for startups, scaleups, and SMEs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a space where entrepreneurship and creativity thrive, connecting ambitious businesses with the tools, people, and networks they need to grow.
Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, community engagement, sales, and operational oversight. You will help position the location as a premier destination for innovative founders and organizations seeking to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Community Development
* Build and grow a community of entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators.
* Leverage networks to attract ambitious businesses and organize workshops.
* Partner with innovation and business support programs to enhance member experience.
* Support event delivery and initiatives that promote connection and knowledge-sharing.
* Foster a culture of innovation and curiosity within the workspace.
* Drive occupancy through lead generation, pipeline management, and member retention.
* Conduct tours, onboard new members, negotiate deals, and maintain client relationships.
* Represent the location at networking events and engage with the broader business ecosystem.
Operations & Facilities Management
* Ensure smooth site operations, including facilities management and process optimization.
* Maintain health & safety compliance and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
* Manage billing, budgets, and reporting to ensure financial efficiency.
Member Experience
* Deliver a high-quality member journey from onboarding to ongoing support.
* Coordinate with marketing and events teams to curate activities.
* Align services with the evolving needs of the community.
* Lead and develop a small team with a collaborative approach.
* Support team development through regular reviews and personal development plans.
* Foster a service-oriented culture to ensure exceptional member experiences.

About You:
You bring:
* Strong commercial acumen balancing sales, service, and operations
* Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and business growth
* Proven leadership in fast-paced, service-driven environments
* Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship skills
* Experience in innovation hubs, coworking spaces, accelerators, or creative/tech sectors
* Existing networks within startup or innovation ecosystems
* Experience with innovation programs, prototyping spaces, or community development
* Familiarity with CRM systems, Xero, OfficeRnD, or similar tools
