Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is advantageous. Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
* Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
* Ensure all surfaces are free from dirt, stains, and clutter
* Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
* Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when required
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
* Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage after use
Skills
* Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
* Knowledge of hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is an advantage
* Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving kitchen maintenance or hospitality settings
* Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients and visitors
* Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict hygiene protocols
* Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness
* Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending
