About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The role will primarily be carried out remotely, with occasional visits to our office in Leigh-on-Sea when required.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate sales ledger records, processing customer invoices, and supporting credit control activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, efficient, and looking for a flexible part-time role.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing and issuing sales invoices.
* Maintaining accurate sales ledger records.
* Reconciling customer accounts.
* Monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with credit control.
* Responding to customer invoice queries.
* Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
About You
* Previous experience in a finance or sales ledger role.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) – desirable.
* Confident with Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
* Flexible to attend the Leigh-on-Sea office occasionally.
