A leading building services contractor is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Contracts Manager (MEP) to oversee the critical transition period between contract award and site commencement. This role is key to ensuring MEP projects are efficiently structured for success — commercially, technically, and operationally.
The Role
Acting as the central link between clients, internal delivery teams, and appointed designers or supply chain partners, the Preconstruction Contracts Manager will take ownership of all contractual, design, and coordination activities during the preconstruction phase. The role ensures all pre-start requirements are in place, enabling smooth mobilisation and strong project delivery from day one.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the preconstruction phase for allocated MEP projects from contract award through to site start.
2. Develop and manage preconstruction programmes, trackers, and action plans with clear ownership and deadlines.
