An exciting opportunity has become available in the pricing space at Royal Mail. We’re seeking a strategic and collaborative Pricing Project Manager to coordinate the planning and execution of major price changes, ensuring all rate card price points are accurately published and billed.
Responsible for an indirect budget of £500,000, the role will also support the implementation of new pricing systems that will form the foundation of our future commercial operations.
About The Role
In this position you'll:
* Build and maintain high-quality relationships with 30+ key pricing stakeholders across various departments, including at Director level.
* Work with Directors to strategically plan rate card changes and timelines months ahead of deployment.
* Lead rate card price deployment over an intensive 9-month period.
* Be responsible for ensuring all rate card prices are accurately deployed into our multiple billing systems and external suppliers.
* Coordinate the publication of thousands of rate card price points to customers via price guides and direct communications.
* Manage a direct budget of approximately £30k, raise purchase orders, and secure additional budget as needed.
* Drive continuous improvement for Tariff processes, including Project Implementation Reviews to identify issues and develop solutions.
* Support the planning and deployment of future pricing systems to enhance management and deployment of our pricing for commercial growth.
About You
* Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills, including negotiating and influencing at all levels up to Directors.
* Ability to create and adapt large-scale project plans dynamically.
* Strong written communication skills.
* Ability to influence without authority across conflicting stakeholder priorities.
* Sound commercial judgment and perspective.
* Experience delivering large-scale change through effective project management.
* Project Management professional qualification preferred - PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
* Ideally educated to degree level.
