Our Assistive Technology division sources cutting‑edge solutions and equipment from around the globe to enhance patient care and well‑being across the UK and Ireland. Our innovative products improve health outcomes, and provide exceptional support and sustainability for individuals in need. We are looking for an individual to cover our Scottish territory.
Role Description
The day‑to‑day work involves developing our business by working closely with our customers (primarily occupational therapists and physiotherapists) across the full Community market including domestic surroundings and Special schools, to meet their needs. Our Assistive Technology Specialists perform assessments and fittings and undertake Consignment Stock checks on a regular basis, alongside training and demonstration activities. Our team work in close collaboration with our Marketing team and Business Development Managers whose role it is to work at the senior levels of our customers' organisations ensuring we are their first choice wherever appropriate. Ideally the role is full‑time, however part‑time is negotiable for the right individual.
Qualifications & Experience
It is desirable that candidates have experience of working in a similar role alongside clinicians within the NHS and social care sector, ideally with some knowledge of the paediatric market, or from within the industry with either a manufacturer or distributor. A proactive approach and the ability to work well unsupervised is vital along with a "can do" attitude. Candidates need to be computer‑literate, must be willing to work in a field‑based environment, staying away overnight on occasion. Applicants must hold a full driving licence.
