Teaching Assistant - Hounslow Location: Hounslow, West London Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development within a classroom setting. Key Responsibilities Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management Supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation Supervising pupils during break, lunch, and transition times The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable) A patient, calm, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Confidence supporting pupils of different ages and abilities An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if required) A willingness to learn and adapt within a school environment Why Join This School?
