Are you an empathetic Physiotherapist specialising in strokes and neurological conditions?
Pulse is seeking a Band 5/6 Physiotherapist to join our client’s stroke team at a well-established NHS trust in West Midlands. The role is available for the successful therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time and part-time hours per week for an ongoing period.
Physiotherapists applying will need to have previous experience working with stroke management and treating patients to be considered for this role.
Duties within this role will include:
1. Initial assessments/brain injury assessments
2. Rehabilitation
3. Help to develop skills
4. Increase range of motion
5. Providing support and advice to careers and family members
6. Working within a multidisciplinary team
7. Managing own caseload
To be considered for this role, you must:
8. Hold the relevant degree/qualifications in Occupational Therapy
9. Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
10. Have significant neuro/stroke experience
11. Be patient and communicative towards patients with a range of neuro conditions
