The VP of Professional Services is the driving force behind how our clients experience Napier. You'll lead the full journey, from implementation to long‑term success, ensuring every customer feels the impact of our technology quickly, consistently, and at a world‑class standard.
As the owner of our global delivery organisation, you'll set the vision and build the operational engine that powers exceptional client outcomes. You'll shape strategy, elevate delivery excellence, and champion a culture that helps organisations around the world unlock the full value of Napier's platform.
Your day to day: VP of Professional Services
Strategic Leadership
* Champion a truly global delivery model by aligning and empowering our major Professional Services hubs in Belfast and Kuala Lumpur, ensuring seamless collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, and consistent delivery excellence across regions.
* Define and execute the global Professional Services strategy aligned to company objectives and revenue targets.
* Build, scale, and mature a delivery organisation that can support enterprise, multi‑market, and strategic accounts.
* Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure seamless client experiences and continuous feedback loops.
* Work closely with Product and R&D to define and execute on roadmap enhancements to reduce the end-to-end effort required to deliver projects. Work collaboratively to productise key repeat tasks and functions, with the aim of reducing time to value and building a more scalable, efficient and profitable PS capability.
* Define and execute on global partner strategy, ensuring appropriate partner enablement, tooling and documentation is in place to effectively support delivery partners, building a scalable implementation model, while continuing to deliver on agreed global target margins.
Delivery & Implementation Excellence
* Own end‑to‑end implementation methodology, governance, and quality assurance across all delivery teams.
* Drive repeatability through standardised frameworks, playbooks, project methodologies, and best practices.
* Ensure on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality implementations across all client programmes.
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead and develop global Professional Services teams, including Implementation, Technical Consulting, Project Management, PMO, and Integration functions.
* Build a high‑performance, scalable team structure with clear role definitions, capability frameworks, and progression pathways.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operational & Commercial Ownership
* Own services P&L including forecasting, utilisation, margin optimisation, and delivery capacity planning.
* Develop scalable engagement models including packaged services, premium services, and partner‑driven delivery options.
* Support Sales in scoping complex deals, defining delivery estimates, and shaping winning proposals.
* Partner closely with Finance to optimise PS financial tracking and reporting, delivering a more robust set of MI to teams and senior stakeholders.
* Ensure successful delivery of the PSA Tool (Kantata) implementation, driving adoption across the PS organisation, and improving the accuracy and predictability of revenue, margin and resource forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as an executive sponsor on strategic or at‑risk implementation programmes.
* Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring long‑term adoption and value realisation.
* Ensure client feedback is captured, prioritised, and fed into product and delivery roadmaps.
Do you have what it takes?
Essential
* Proven track record leading Professional Services, Delivery, or Implementation teams in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
* Direct experience of delivery ideally to banks or large enterprise customers in a regulated environment
* Experience overseeing global teams and complex multi‑market delivery programmes.
* Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and services margin management.
* Deep understanding of implementation methodologies, project management frameworks, and enterprise client onboarding.
* Demonstrated ability to build and scale high‑performing delivery organisations.
Desirable
* Background in a fast‑growth scale‑up or digital transformation environment.
* Direct experience of delivery to tier 1 banks
* Experience working with channel or delivery partners.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum).
