HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £42,387 to £45,000 (DOE) + £1500 Signing Bonus + Overtime
Working Hours: No Weekends - Monday-Friday - 07:00-16:00
Location/Depot: Pyle

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to HGVs and trailers at customer sites or roadside locations.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic equipment.
* Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation work.
* Respond to breakdowns and provide efficient on-site repairs to minimise vehicle downtime.
* Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
* Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
* HGV licence is an advantage
* Full UK Driving license is essential
* MOT preparation experience
