Responsibilities
We have an open Medical Assistant position at MPA - Women's Oncology located at 3425 University Parkway, Saraota, FL. This role is on‑site and involves assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, venipuncture and other procedures within the scope of practice in the state.
* Documentation recorded in Electronic Medical Record in accordance with MPA guideline.
* Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
* Assist in covering front desk as required.
* General medical procedures.
* Understand end‑of‑day cash balancing and charge reconciliations process.
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Travels to and works at other facilities as requested.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Medical Assistant Certificate strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology required.
* Experience with patient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
* Minimum of 1 year of medical experience preferred.
* Job requires reliability, responsibility, dependability.
* Detail‑oriented and thorough in completing work tasks.
