Electrical manufacturer are looking for mechanical fitter. Mechanical FitterRole Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assembling precision lapping, polishing, and cutting equipment used in semiconductor, geological, and optical engineering applications. Responsibilities: Mechanical Assembly: Assemble complex electro-mechanical products with precision. Utilise manual machining techniques and hand tools during the build process. Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Search for and utilise electronic data from MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) data management systems. Aesthetic and Functional Accuracy: Demonstrate finesse during production to ensure our products meet aesthetic requirements without compromising functional accuracy. Work closely with a tight-knit production team to assemble bespoke equipment. Additional Skills (Advantageous): Prior experience in electrical assembly (e.g., panel wiring). Familiarity with CNC turning/milling or programming of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and electrical hardware. Quality and Standards: Maintain high-quality, safety, and environmental standards. Ensure equipment, supplies, and records adhere to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
