What The Role Will Involve
* Develop real-time software for flight simulators, from control systems to graphical user interfaces
* Support integration and testing, fault finding and problem rectification on simulated systems
* Participate in the full product lifecycle from requirements analysis through to customer acceptance and post-delivery support
What You’ll Bring
* C programming skills
* A practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or the Software Development Lifecycle
* Drive, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Strong verbal, presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills
* An engineering degree or equivalent (with mathematics, science or engineering) or proven engineering experience in the aviation/aerospace industry
Desirable Skills And Competencies
* Experience of safety-critical systems and software in aerospace, automotive or related industries
* Web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, etc
* C# & C++ programming
* Windows application development using Visual Studio
* Knowledge of ARINC, AFDX and/or CAN bus protocols
* Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
