The Role:
As the successful Production Operative your duties will include:
1. Operating the machinery in a safe working manner
2. Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
3. Keeping machines supplied with material
4. Reporting machinery faults to the production manager
5. Keeping the machines and work area clean and tidy during the shift
6. Operating hand tools
7. Organising stock
8. Loading lorries
9. Picking and packing orders
10. Driving a forklift and pallet truck in a safe working manner
Requirements:
As the ideal Production Operative you will have
11. Previous experience in a manufacturing / warehousing environment would be preferable
12. Adherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards
13. Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
14. Excellent attention to detail
15. Work well on own initiative and as part of a team
16. Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job
Hours of work:
17. Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 12noon

18. Competitive rate of pay £ - £ per hr
