About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and skilled candidate to join us to provide technical support in our Performing Arts area. The role will be primarily based within the Community Engagement team, working to provide support to community events, productions, and performances, but may at times also be required to assist in other areas of the College, such as curriculum.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

* To organise daily activities within the learning environment, including the preparation of teaching resources and housekeeping.
* To provide assistance to individuals or groups within the environment. For specific departments this may include work placements and instructing/directing of students.
* Monitor and maintain equipment and prepare replacement plans. For Animal Care this includes travel to and from vet appointments.
* Order and stock take materials and equipment.
* To assist with PAT testing if applicable.
* To participate in curriculum area, College, employer/parent functions, meetings, community events and promotional activities as required.

Requirements

You will need:

* Level 2 qualification in the relevant subject area or relevant industry experience
* Technical qualification in the relevant subject area
* Relevant industrial/subject experience
* Experience of following/applying Health & Safety Procedures
* Competency in using the relevant tools
