About The Role
To act as keyholder and be responsible for the security of Crayford and Hurst Community Centre, premises, and contents during the sessions when centre is hired out. To ensure there are adequate tables and chairs in the halls and meeting rooms as requested by hirers when booking.
To carry out light cleaning duties where necessary – this may include, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the rooms after use, cleaning the toilets if needed. Replenishing hand soap and toilet rolls and emptying bins.
To ensure that community centre users are aware of all health and safety regulations and fire evacuation procedures when the centre is in use. To keep means of escape clear at all times.
To inspect the premises before and after use, checking that all the tables, chairs and any other equipment are available and are left in good order at the end of the session.
To carry out duties including moving equipment between rooms, and assist members of the public using the facilities.

Candidates should have a good standard of education and good communication skills. IT skills will be required.
