We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to multitask. Strong IT skills are essential, and you must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
You will be responsible for the management of patient referrals and appointments using phone and email communication, creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patients. This is a rewarding role that involves daily interaction with patients, administrative colleagues, and clinical staff in a continually evolving service that has been rated "Outstanding for Care" by the CQC.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for MSK patients and visitors attending the department
* Take responsibility for digital referral management and patient bookings
* Perform a variety of specific admin tasks including managing phone lines and email, with a patient focus at the forefront of our role
* Liaise with other departments and services to support patients as needed, such as interpreting services
* Collect data and statistics to assist management in guiding the service direction
* Work flexibly in response to the needs of patients, service and physiotherapists
* Support colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective, and compassionate service both virtually and in person
