Job Description
Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support the learning and well-being of children aged 4-16 years old. This role varies from working one-on-one with special educational needs children to being a classroom support as a whole, ensuring needs are met while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This is a rewarding role as a relationship is established between the student and the Teaching Assistant, and can lead to a long-term opportunity.\n\nYou Will:\n\nDeliver and adapt learning activities for individuals and small groups with the guidance of a teacher \n\nSupport students with varying levels of SEND \n\nAssist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teacher \n\nProvide pastoral support and help students develop positive relationships and independent learning skills\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nHave experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting) \n\nHave a broad understanding of the education system.
\n\nUnderstand safeguarding practices. \n\nBe capable of strong communication and have organisational skills. \n\nWill be calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.
