Position Summary
The Department of Neurology is seeking a Clinical Faculty Member for our world‑renowned Sleep‑Wake Disorders Center. The practice is located at the Moses division, the main campus of Montefiore Medical Center. The role involves clinical practice focused on sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment, with opportunities for research and teaching.
Qualifications
* Board‑Certified in Sleep Medicine.
* Experience in a large clinical practice focused on sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment.
* Interest in developing research programs that receive NIH, foundation or industry funding.
* Ability to collaborate with the Pulmonary and Pediatrics divisions for fellowship training.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat patients with sleep disorders, including sleep‑related breathing disorders, hypersomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia and parasomnias.
* Provide care for neurological sleep disorders such as narcolepsy and REM sleep behavior disorder.
* Participate in the ACGME approved fellowship program and training of residents and fellows.
* Engage in clinical research and contribute to NIH or industry funded projects.
* Collaborate with Dr. Michael Thorpy and interdisciplinary teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary of $250,000‑$300,000 with generous productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) plan are also offered.
