Duties of the Level 2 Vehicle Technician:
12. Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and manufacturer specifications
13. Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment with a systematic approach
14. Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and undertake relevant training
15. Ensure all work is completed observing safe working practices and adhering to quality standards
16. Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to meet repair deadlines and quality benchmarks
17. Complete electronic service documentation, warranties, and reports accurately
18. Conduct detailed vehicle health checks and produce reports or videos efficiently
19. Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and tool protocols
20. Participate in manufacturer training pathways, including hybrid and electric vehicle technologies
21. Assist in high-quality repairs and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements of the Level 2 Vehicle Technician:
22. Relevant NVQ or IMI Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification
23. Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
24. Enthusatic and energetic approach to work
25. Full valid UK driving licence
26. Smart appearance and professional attitude
27. Ideally experience in main dealer environments
28. Manufacturer training and certifications are desirable
